Webexpenses Joins Britain’s Biggest Start-Up Show
With webexpenses taking part in Britain’s biggest show for start-ups, we wanted to think of a suitably big prize as our event giveaway. We wanted it to be something to match the impressive stats associated with The Business Show event.
This annual show, geared towards start-ups, has grown to become the biggest of its kind in the UK with more than 25,000 delegates expected over the two-day event. There will be over 350 exhibitors and 250 seminars by leading business experts.
This years’ line-up includes talks from major brands such as Twitter, Kashflow and LinkedIn, as well as entrepreneurs David Gold, James Caan, Doug Richard and Olympic gold medalist Ben Hunt-Davies.
Added to them will be a special talk from webexpenses’ co-founder Sanjay Parekh who will be sharing his entrepreneurial insights as a pioneer in the use of cloud computing as a business solution.
So in keeping with the event; webexpenses is offering its biggest ever event giveaway - £20,000 worth of webexpenses’ software and support. It’s a prize designed to give one UK start-up the boost they need to grow.
Companies will be able to enter the prize draw by visiting the webexpenses stall during the Business Show event. The lucky winner will get free use of webexpenses’ software and support for up to 20 employees for a period of 10 years.
Rachel Gregan, webexpenses’ Head of Marketing, said: “We wanted to do something which could make a genuine and lasting difference to a start-up company.
“We know how tough it can be in those early years, so this is our way to give something back and to support a company at the time they need it most.
“The winner will not only be receiving our service for free but also all the benefits of using the system - 25 percent reduction in expense processing costs and around 40% cut in T&E spend.”
Webexpenses was launched in 2001 and it’s award-winning expenses management system is now in its seventh iteration with a rolling programme of updates and improvements.
Earlier this year webexpenses was inducted onto the Accelerate 250 list of Britain’s fastest growing companies. The index is made up of companies in the ‘vital 6%’ of UK businesses who continued to grow despite the tough economic climate.
Visitors to The Business Show will be able to find the webexpenses’ team at stand 184 at the event which is taking place from November 28-29. So if you’re a start-up company and you’re looking for a boost, come and say hello.
