Webexpenses takes to the stage at business awards ceremony

The webexpenses team were at this year’s Oxfordshire Business Awards to pick up their finalists accolade.

Hundreds of guests attended the prestigious black tie event at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel for the finalists in each of the 15 competition categories.

Webexpenses was one of three companies chosen by the judging panel to make it through to the final of The BLUE LAW® by Darbys Small Business Award.

The criteria for finalists was those companies best able to demonstrate:

  • Strong business growth
  • A business plan with strategy and vision
  • Management with ability to drive the business
  • An understanding of the market and ability to respond
  • Robust funding arrangements and investment plans

The overall winner was announced on the night as Raw Talent Academy but the webexpenses team received a rousing reception as they accepted their finalists award.

Adam Reynolds, webexpenses CEO said:

“It’s events like this which show why webexpenses chose to make Oxfordshire its home. The quality and blend of businesses competing in the finals was something special and we’re proud that webexpenses could be a part of it.”

Webexpenses use of mobile working methods enabled the company to make the switch from a London base to a new home in the market town of Witney, in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

The Oxfordshire Business Awards is now in its 22nd year with the competition’s reputation growing along with the vibrancy of the business community it serves.
