Webexpenses proud sponsors of prestigious CIPP award

Webexpenses are sponsoring this year’s ‘In-house Team of the Year’ award to help celebrate the 12th year of the Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards.

Established in 2003 by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), the awards were created to recognise the important role that payroll and pensions plays within the UK.

The shortlisted individuals and organisations will be invited to attend the formal ceremony, taking place at Celtic Manor Resort, Wales on 8-9th October.

The In-house Team of the Year award is to find the team who are able to best demonstrate how their collective actions have helped to improve the organisation’s overall performance.

The eight shortlisted teams who will be competing for the top spot are:

  • Carnival UK

  • First Port Payroll

  • Hays

  • Kerry Group Ltd

  • Nationwide Building Society

  • NES Global Talent

  • Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust

  • University of Lincoln

The prestigious awards ceremony is just part of a two-day event which also offers a range of talks, workshops and discussions on issues affecting the industry as well as updates on the latest in legislative changes, interactive panel sessions and networking opportunities.

Caroline Trotman, Head of Marketing said:

“We are really proud to be sponsoring the In-house Team of the Year award. We put particular emphasis on our own in-house teams, and understand some of the challenges companies face as well as what’s needed to create a successful team.”

CIPP was established as an official industry body in 1985 and was granted Chartered Status in November 2010. It currently has around 9,500 individuals who benefit from support through membership and other services.

This year CIPP is also introducing two new awards; International Payroll Provider of the Year, sponsored by Equiniti and the Caring Employer award, sponsored by Cintra HR and Payroll.
