Webexpenses announced as finalist for West Oxfordshire Business Awards

Webexpenses has been selected as a finalist in the 2016 West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBA) in the Marketing Excellence category.

Sponsored by the multi-award-winning creative agency Mark-Making, the Marketing Excellence Award is based on a specific marketing campaign that has run since 1st September 2014.

Others in the running for this prestigious award are SMART Photography and Thomas Cleaning Franchise.

The criteria for the Marketing Excellence Award is to find the organisation best able to demonstrate:

  • Clear campaign objectives and goals
  • A clear strategic plan for before, during and after the activities
  • Creative and original thinking
  • Measurable results

Since its launch in 2011, the West Oxfordshire Business Awards has given the opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to really demonstrate their excellent services, products and the high quality that the local area has to offer in terms of its business community.

The overall winner will be announced at the 2016 Gala Dinner which takes place on March 18th at the Heythrop Park, Enstone, Chipping Norton

Winners from each category will also be entered into the STL Communications West Oxfordshire Business of the Year 2016 Award.

Caroline Trotman, Head of Marketing at webexpenses said:

“We are thrilled to be a finalist for the Marketing Excellence Award. We’re really proud of the #too polite campaign that we launched last year and it was lovely to look back on what we had achieved throughout the campaign and after it. Expenses are arguably not everyone's favourite subject, but what we love to do is put a fun take on real issues, and add a really strong creative in using our flexible branding. Being a finalist in such an award category is a great achievement for us; we’re really looking forward to the Gala Dinner in March.”

Webexpenses will be hoping to add to its proud track record of industry accolades which include being the Winner of Financial Software Provider of the Year at the Director of Finance Awards and a Finalist in Small Business Award in the Oxfordshire Business Awards last summer.
