"We’ve been a Sage partner for over 20 years," shares Chris Housecroft, Pre-Sales Manager at Innov8. The company’s expertise in Sage 200 and Intacct, complemented by its development of industry-specific solutions, has established it as a trusted advisor to its customers. With offices spanning across the UK and Ireland, Innov8 is strategically positioned to serve a wide client base.
Chris explains his role, saying that he works with “new and existing customers to find solutions to any challenges and requirements they've got”, also mentioning he does work closely with Innov8’s partners. Discovering Webexpenses
Innov8’s partnership with Webexpenses began as a solution to a pressing customer need. "We had some customers that demanded more functionality than what we already had to offer." Chris recalls. "The team at Webexpenses are really easy to work with.
On top of being partnered with Webexpenses, Innov8 uses the system internally explaining that as a company they relied on a spreadsheet-based expense system. "It was a big leap forward for us. I used to send envelopes of receipts every couple of months. Now, with Webexpenses, the process is seamless."
A Seamless Integration
One of the standout benefits of Webexpenses is its integration capabilities with Sage products. "It’s a fully integrated solution," says Chris. "There’s no gap to fill, it's a fully integrated solution which makes it kind of fit with everything that we do.”
This integration has not only simplified Innov8’s operations but also enhanced its service offerings. One of the main benefits Innov8 have experienced from being partnered with Webexpenses is "that customers when they're asking for a solution have an expectation of what it's going to do and it does what they expect it's going to do."

Innov8’s account management team has embraced Webexpenses enthusiastically. Chris notes, due to the team using it internally "the nice thing is, even if a customer hasn’t asked for it in advance, our team can pull out their phones and show them what Webexpenses can do."
The partnership has also provided valuable support during complex sales cycles. "We recently had a customer with specific credit card requirements. Webexpenses quickly provided resources to assist us, which gave the customer confidence and secured the deal."
Building a Strategic Partnership
Webexpenses’ commitment to collaboration has been a key factor in the partnership’s success. "The account management team at Webexpenses has embedded itself with ours," advocates Chris. "From demos to configuration tweaks, they’re always there to help."
Innov8 has also involved Webexpenses in its customer events, such as the annual Innov8 Insights Live that occurs in November. "They delivered sessions, sponsored the event and engaged with our customers, it was really well received."
Room for Growth
Chris emphasises the importance of feedback in shaping the product. "It’s great to know that Webexpenses is open to suggestions, ensuring the solution evolves to meet our needs."
